Linda Deason

Linda Deason founded West Coast Hair Design, where she is the owner, and she also works as a master colorist. Her career started in San Diego, where she ran The Hair Connection for almost 20 years before opening the Jacksonville salon in 1995. She has been working in hair for more than 51 years and has completed over 200 advanced classes, certifications and professional credentials. Her color training includes five levels of Jamie Sea's SALT Society balayage program and hand-painting study with Masters of Balayage, which she began in 2018. She also studied advanced balayage and color theory under Ashlee Norman, Lisa Walker and Mika Rogerson, and French balayage and painting with Candy Shaw and the Sunlights team. She holds a L'Oréal Professionnel French Gray Blending Certification. On the cutting side, she completed scissor and razor cutting and styling at Bumble and bumble University in New York, and advanced haircutting at Gary Gerard's International Advanced Haircutting Center in San Francisco. Her teachers also included Jeanne Braa, who served as Paul Mitchell's stage partner across the 1980s, and she has taken education through Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy and Goldwell. Her training further includes Redken University in New York and advanced consultation with Daniel Mason Jones.
