Heather Lucas

Heather Lucas is the Education Director and a master colorist. She has served as the salon's Education Director for four years, training apprentices and coordinating advanced education, and has 14 years of experience. She works in balayage, lived-in color, foil highlights, bronde, dimensional brunette color, blonding, modern gray coverage, gray blending, gray transitions and color correction, and is a dry haircutting expert. Before choosing a gray approach, she considers gray hair concentration, natural and previous color, and maintenance.

Her training began with Bumble and bumble's full cutting and styling curriculum, and she took her first Bumble and bumble class at age 15, in the salon. She continues with Redken University in New York and has in-depth Goldwell color theory education. She completed all five levels of Jamie Sea's SALT Society balayage program and Lisa Walker's Lisa Loves Balayage program. She trained in dimensional brunette color with Mika Rogerson and in advanced balayage with Ashlee Norman, and took balayage and French cutting classes with Candy Shaw.

She is a Certified Redken Colorist and holds Masters of Balayage certification with Ryan Weeden, along with the L'Oréal Professionnel French Gray Blending Certification. She is one of thirty stylists nationally selected for the House of Bumble Collective, a group that represents professional education at industry events. She welcomes new guests for a range of color services, including balayage, lived-in color and gray transitions.
