VK NailHaus is owned by Viktoriia, who holds the title Top Master and also teaches. The studio specializes in e-file dry manicures, which it calls Russian or European manicures. They are performed with a dry e-file technique and no soaking, so nails are not placed in acetone.
The studio's focus is the health of natural nails. Designs are chosen to enhance a client's nails rather than overpower them, with the aim of results that look good and keep nails healthy.
Instruments are medical-grade or hospital-grade and sterilized in autoclaves, and files are disposable. The studio describes its space as hygienic and relaxing and follows strict sanitation protocols. Every client receives the same level of service, whether a regular or a first-time visitor.
The studio offers three pedicure styles: a waterless e-file Smart Pedicure, a Russian pedicure combined with a Japanese nail treatment, and a Paramedical Pedicure, which the salon presents as a cosmetic service rather than a medical one. Guests can add NanoFlex toenail reconstruction to any pedicure for $50 per toe. For gel removal, technicians use a professional e-file instead of acetone, soak-off methods or acid-based removers. Only gel systems are used here. Dip powder, acrylic and Gel-X sets done at other salons are outside what this studio will take off.
Russian manicure classes are offered in small groups or one-on-one. A private one-on-one training runs eight hours a day at $1,400 per day, and the two-day Russian Manicure Certification Program costs $970. A $300 deposit is required for the manicure class, and private training includes three months of post-training support and Q&A.
