Vivace is a husband-and-wife team, Adrian and Kalyn Sieminski, working from a suite at 720 South Rancho Santa Fe Road in San Marcos. The menu covers color and cutting for women and men, along with a dedicated hair extension practice.

Hair extensions are provided by an IBE Certified Master Technician, and pricing is set individually based on where the client starts and the look they want. An initial IBE install uses premium hand-tied wefts colored to blend with the client's own hair, followed by a haircut and style to blend the extensions and a customized home care kit. IBE maintenance is needed every six to eight weeks for a reinstall, depending on the hair. I-Tip extensions are individual pieces attached with a small color-matched loc, and sets are offered in volume, full, and extra fullness versions.

Color services range from grey blending and grey coverage touch-ups to full and partial balayage and foil highlights. A Custom Look is an all-inclusive coloring appointment that can combine foils, balayage, tipping out, teasylights, color, root smudge, melt, and an Olaplex treatment. Some looks take one to three sessions, depending on how the hair responds to coloring while staying healthy. Color correction is offered as a consultation only.

New clients request appointments by text at (858) 792-1985 with their first and last name, email, photos of current hair from the front, side and back, and an inspiration photo. Requests receive a reply within 24 to 48 hours, Tuesday through Saturday. Consultations and price questions are also handled by text. The salon is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm.
