She began working behind the chair in 2006, opened the first salon in Encinitas in 2012, and moved to Carlsbad in 2015, the same year hair loss services were added to the menu.

Hair loss and scalp health is the salon's main specialty. Those services begin with diagnosis, including DNA testing and a scalp assessment, before a treatment plan is made. The treatments are non-surgical, with no transplants and no downtime. The menu also includes hair loss treatments, scalp treatments, Hydrafacial scalp treatments, nutraceuticals, toppers and wigs, and wig fittings. Hair extensions are offered by consultation only and use the salon's own 100% human hair line, launched in 2025.

Every new client has a consultation before any cutting or color, covering the look they want, what their hair will realistically do, and how to care for it at home. Color is quoted after the stylist has looked at the hair, and vivid colors and color corrections are priced hourly. Pricing for other services depends on the stylist's level and the work required, and is quoted during consultation rather than listed online.
