A visit begins with a conversation about the client's lifestyle, daily routine, profession and how much time they want to spend styling. Only after that does the stylist cut, so the cut fits how the client lives. Haircuts are designed to grow out well and stay manageable between visits.

Color work aims for dimension and a natural look, and covers full color, subtle blending and gray coverage. The salon also specializes in camouflage colors for men, particularly gray camouflage. Perms, keratin treatment and a Sassoon precision haircut for women are also offered, and a complimentary beauty consultation is available at no charge. Keratin treatment requires a consultation first.

Stylists study hair care products and suggest them to clients who need them. Some stylists specialize in thin, thick, wavy and curly hair. New stylists are recruited already trained, then taught on the job to the salon's standards. Independent hairdressers with their own clientele can also rent a chair.

Payment is by cash or check only, and the salon offers a satisfaction guarantee on each service.
