Uplifted Curls

Uplifted Curls works with naturally curly hair from 428 W Davis St in Bishop Arts, operating out of Studio #3 inside Crecer Dallas. The salon focuses on education, so clients understand their curls and can care for them after the appointment, and it works to help clients reconnect with their natural texture.

The haircuts are meant to work at home as well as in the salon. The menu includes the Signature Curly Cut, a Maintenance Cut, an Express Cut, and Bang Trim. Curly cuts are reserved for naturally curly textures, and short men's cuts and pixie cuts are not currently offered. Color appointments are available, and they need clean hair with no styling products.

New clients are encouraged to start with Wash + Go + Education to learn their curls before booking a cut. The Curl Nourish & Renew Scalp Ceremony is also offered. Goals that fall outside the salon's services are referred to another stylist at Crecer Dallas.

Clients should arrive with hair completely dry and worn loose in its everyday texture, washed within the past one to two days, and detangled enough to move comfortably. The salon won't accept hair that is wet, braided, twisted, pulled into a ponytail or clipped up, slicked back, covered by a hat, coated in heavy oil or wax, or badly matted. Appointments arriving that way may be adjusted, moved to another date, cancelled without refund, or charged extra. A small amount of the client's usual styling product is fine. Guests can't come along, since seating is limited.

Clients who want to change or cancel should give at least two days' notice. A change made inside 48 hours is charged half the cost of the booked service, and one made inside 24 hours is charged in full. There is a 10-minute grace period; after that, the visit is treated as a no-show and billed completely. Follow-up adjustments apply only to the haircut agreed at consultation and must be requested within a week. Every charge and fee is final and non-refundable. Saturday slots are held for returning clients, who need to book their next visit before leaving the current one.

Hours are Tuesday to Thursday 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Friday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM; the salon is closed Sunday and Monday. There is a designated parking lot behind the salon, accessed from 7th St, and new paid parking behind Cafe Brazil is about a two-minute walk away.
