Twisted Scissors Hair Studio

Twisted Scissors Hair Studio is a one-person studio owned by Angela Lewis, based in Suite 25 at Sola Salon Studios-Denver West in Lakewood, Colorado. The studio says it was established in 2010. Hours are Monday and Tuesday 10:00 to 2:00, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 to 4:30, and Saturday and Sunday 10:30 to 3:00, with the studio closed on Fridays.

The menu is split into hair services and treatments. Hair services include Haircuts-Plus, Roots & Dimension, Custom Colors, and Lived In Color, which can be done as a full or partial custom application. Treatments are Peptides & Bonds and Deep Conditioning. Prices shown are starting prices.

Booking is done online through a GlossGenius profile page. Appointments usually fill about three weeks out, so booking ahead is recommended. Appointments are held with a credit card at booking, and deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations need 36 hours' notice, given by contacting the studio or through the booking system; a missed or late-cancelled appointment that cannot be filled is charged at 80% of the booked service. Add-ons booked with an appointment are charged even if the client declines them at the visit. Simply not confirming an appointment does not count as a cancellation.

The studio describes itself as inviting and warm. It works with Eufora International, Alfaparf Milano HairColor, and Megix 10 HairColor, and says it uses organic, non-toxic, eco-friendly products.

Color is planned around the client's wishes, with a lived-in approach aimed at a low-maintenance result. Appointments are treated as a collaboration.
