The studio was founded by Krislyn King, who has worked in the beauty industry since March 2019 and became owner of Tru iLashes LLC/INC in April of that year. Lash services range from a natural-looking set that places one extension on each natural lash to fuller looks built from handmade fans. Clients can book fills at two, three or four weeks, with a Classic Lashes full set and a Hybrid Lashes full set also listed. Clients are asked to arrive with clean lashes.
Brow services include Ombre' Shading, a semi-permanent powder-style brow treatment that the business says is suitable for all skin types and can last one to three years with maintenance, along with a touch-up that is usually needed four to six weeks after the first session. Brow Sculpt & Wax shapes the natural brow with waxing and a color pencil and brow product, and Henna Tint & Brow Sculpt adds a henna tint that the business says lasts about 10 to 14 days depending on skin.
