The studio was founded by Krislyn King, who has worked in the beauty industry since March 2019 and became owner of Tru iLashes LLC/INC in April of that year. The business states that its goal is to build a high-quality brand with products it considers safe for everyday women, and to grow into a single place for personal care and beauty needs.

Lash services range from a natural-looking set that places one extension on each natural lash to fuller looks built from handmade fans. Clients can book fills at two, three or four weeks, with a Classic Lashes full set and a Hybrid Lashes full set also listed. Clients are asked to arrive with clean lashes.

Brow services include Ombre' Shading, a semi-permanent powder-style brow treatment that the business says is suitable for all skin types and can last one to three years with maintenance, along with a touch-up that is usually needed four to six weeks after the first session. Brow Sculpt & Wax shapes the natural brow with waxing and a color pencil and brow product, and Henna Tint & Brow Sculpt adds a henna tint that the business says lasts about 10 to 14 days depending on skin.

Facial services cover cleansing tailored to skin needs, extractions, exfoliating, massage, a bespoke treatment mask, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, high-frequency treatment, nano pen infusion and peel treatments using chemical agents. Unwanted hair is removed with soft wax. Before any service, a complimentary consultation reviews allergies, patch testing and the complete procedure.

Booking deposits apply and vary by service, and they are non-refundable and non-transferable. The business does not offer refunds.
