Before a visit, clients are asked to share inspiration photos of the style they want. Hair should be at least 4 inches long for any style, washed, blown out and free of oil. Clients with hair loss may not suit some styles, so photos of their hair are requested before booking. Clients are also asked to bring their own food and drinks.

Aftercare guidance is included: locs, twists and braids can last at least two months with good care, and wrapping hair with a bonnet or scarf each night helps keep styles fresh. For soft locs and braids, a removal video is sent to clients. Quick weaves should be taken out with oil, water, conditioner or alcohol to protect natural hair from glue, and a removal video is also provided.
