Lustre. Beauté operates from Building 201 of the Atascocita Professional Plaza on Farm to Market 1960 East in Humble. The menu is broad, covering braids, locs, weaves and wigs alongside hair styling, brow work, makeup and consultations, so one visit can combine several services.

About

Braid pricing depends on the style and size. Knotless braids and the Jumbo, Large, Medium, Smedium and Small versions include the hair in the listed price, and length adds on top: Jumbo, Large and Medium knotless add for butt, knee or calf length, while Smedium adds for waist, butt or knee length and Small adds for waist, butt or calf length. Stitch feed-ins are priced by braid count, from 6 braids up to 20, with length add-ons as well. Boho hair is not included in knotless prices, and clients who wear hair outside shades 1, 1b, 2 or 4 need to say so ahead of the appointment. Each style comes with a time estimate, ranging from about 10 minutes for a brow wax to about 10 hours for Lisa Bonet locs.

Loc services run from kids' loc styling and retwists to full installations, including interlocking, starter locs, invisible, soft, butterfly and instant locs, loc reattachment and loc extensions. Several are priced after a consultation, among them interlocking, starter locs, Lisa Bonet locs and micro links. Adult loc wash and retwists are only offered to clients who arrive with clean hair, and some loc and weave services need a deposit or retainer.

Deposits are paid through the online booking scheduler. The balance can be paid by PayPal, cash or Apple Pay, and some deposits are taken by Zelle or Apple Pay with the rest paid in cash. Glam makeup requires a deposit to book, and clients are asked to arrive with groomed brows and a bare face.

Pricing and time are set per style, length and braid count, and a consultation is used where the final cost depends on the client's hair.
