Clients wash their hair with a clarifying shampoo only before the appointment and arrive with it free of products such as oils, leave-ins, masks, butters and creams, or the appointment is canceled. Because services are estimated and not rushed, clients are asked to set aside their whole day. The business supplies all braiding hair, tools and products, and blow-drying is available at no extra cost if needed. Hair bundles are not provided for sew-ins or slick styles, but local referrals can be requested.

Deposits are paid through the booking app to secure appointments and are non-refundable; an appointment is confirmed only after the deposit is submitted and accepted. The remaining balance is paid through the app once the client is satisfied. A $20 late fee applies after 20 minutes and must be paid before the service starts, appointments are canceled if a client is more than 25 minutes late, and a $50 fee applies to cancellations within 2 hours. Clients aged 17 and younger are booked and paid for by a parent or guardian aged 21 or older, who must stay for the full consultation for a first-time minor client.
