The Waxing Pixie is a small studio in Salem, New Hampshire, where independent esthetician LiAnne Pomerleau works. The studio currently concentrates on waxing for women, with a menu that runs from quick areas such as lips, chin and toes up to full-body work like full legs, full arms and a full back. Areas not on the list can be booked as touch-ups, priced by the visit, and clients are asked to name the exact area to the provider beforehand.

About

Hours are Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 10 AM to 6 PM, with the studio closed on Fridays and Saturdays. Intake forms must be completed 24 hours before the appointment, or the visit may be canceled or rescheduled. A 50% fee applies to no-shows, to arrivals more than 15 minutes late, and to cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment.

Brow and lash services sit alongside the waxing menu: brow waxing, brow or lash tinting, a bundle pairing a brow wax with a tint, and lash lifts with or without tint. A Swarovski crystal temporary tattoo is available as an add-on, which the studio says lasts from a few days to two weeks. In person, clients can pay through Buy Now, Pay Later for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom figure, and gift card sales are final.
