As a Focus Salon, it primarily uses and sells Paul Mitchell products.

The salon's stated mission is to make every guest feel loved and valued through a professional, welcoming experience. It describes itself as a safe space for anyone looking for confidence, kindness and self-expression. The salon says it does not discriminate or refuse service or employment based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual identity or how someone lives their life. Its home page also promotes Strands For Trans, an effort to create more trans-friendly barbershops and hair salons.

Every service includes a wash with a scalp massage. Wash House Experience treatments, which pair an extended scalp massage with a hot towel, can be added to any service or booked on their own with a complimentary style.

Appointments can be booked online at any time through the Book Online tab, or by calling or texting 317-744-8565. Gift cards are sold online around the clock, and Paul Mitchell and Innersense Beauty products can be bought through the website. Other brands are available through a linked shop, and products that are out of stock at the salon can be ordered online. Two Speedway addresses are listed: 1414 North Main Street and 1032 Main Street, Suite B. The salon is open Tuesday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am to 8:00pm, Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm on alternating weeks. It is closed Mondays and Sundays. Stylists set their own hours, so times may vary.

Clients must keep a credit or debit card on file to book, and a 24-hour cancellation notice is required for all services. A late cancellation is charged 50% of the scheduled service the first time and the full amount after that. After two no-shows, future appointments must be prepaid. Appointments are confirmed by text or email 48 and 24 hours ahead. Redos are honored only if the salon is contacted within three days of the original service, and the salon prefers that they happen within seven to ten days. Redos are usually with the original stylist. If hair has been altered by another salon or by the client, the redo policy does not apply and the full cost of the next appointment is charged. No refunds of any kind are offered.

The salon works as a team of stylists and educators, following a culture it calls Be Nice or Else.

Each visit takes place in a private room with dim lighting and soft music.
