Color appointments include root touch-ups for grey coverage, highlights, balayage, pintura and vivid all-over or creative color, with a consultation and nourishing treatment in the longer services. Before a color visit, clients email current photos of their hair, and inspiration photos for custom or fantasy color.

Before a first appointment, new clients can book a one-hour video call on Google Meet to talk through product and tool recommendations. The salon also offers a two-and-a-half-hour Royal Crown Treatment that includes a custom cut and style, a nourishing treatment, two full-sized styling products and a goodie bag.

Booking policies: a credit card is required to reserve, and clients are not charged at booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment are charged the full booked amount. Late arrivals get a 15-minute grace period, after which the stylist decides whether the service can go ahead. Hair should be washed within the last three days, detangled while wet and arrive dry and worn down; tight ponytails, buns, braids, protective styles, hats and head wraps are not allowed. Other guests not being serviced need prior approval, and light snacks and sealed drinks are fine. No refunds are given, but clients have five days after a service to assess their hair and can book an adjustment visit. Gift cards are sold through Square in set amounts or a custom amount.

The salon aims to help clients understand how to care for their curls at home, not only to leave with a finished style.
