The State Co operates from the historic State Theatre building in downtown Livermore, on First Street. The salon is part of Capital Beauty, a parent company with salons across the Bay Area, and its sister salons Wave House and Theory are located in Livermore or Pleasanton. Capital Beauty describes The State Co as a modern hair salon.

About

The menu covers everyday and occasion work: haircuts, custom color, highlights that add depth and dimension, and vivid fashion color. Hair treatments are customized to the hair, and extensions and special occasion styling are also offered. Brow services include brow waxing, brow lamination, tinting and hybrid tinting. Lash lifts and facial waxing are booked through the Arched Rival option, and lash extensions or lifts are offered alongside them. Barbering, including cuts and grooming, is available as well.

New clients can request a New Client Consultation, after which they are matched with a stylist and services. A free consultation is offered to new clients. Returning clients can book directly through the online booking system. Hair care products are sold in the salon and can be bought online for delivery.
