The Vivace House

The Vivace House was founded in 2006 by Denise Oxsen and Rachel Mclelland. It operates in a building constructed in 1911 that is one of Pleasanton's early craftsman-style buildings and once housed the town's first constable. The salon describes the space as more of a house than a typical salon, with the aim of giving each guest a distinctive experience.

About

The salon says it focuses on personalized service and up-to-date techniques, and that a good hair visit includes a stylist who explains hair care, products and current trends. It is a Kevin Murphy Session Salon, a group the salon describes as set up around editorial styling. Hair services run from cuts and color through to keratin and perm treatments, with extensions offered by consultation only.

Brow services are based in The Brow House, the salon's brow area, which offers microblading, henna brows, hyaluronic filler and other brow treatments. Most prices listed are starting prices and can go up with extra color, additional styling or longer blow-dry time. Quotes are not given over the phone or by email because each service is tailored to the client. Phone bookings receive an intake form to complete before the visit, and a credit card is kept on file for the cancellation policy.
