A visit begins with a conversation about what the client wants and what concerns them. Stylists look at hair texture, color and goals before any cutting or coloring, and they give frank advice without pushing add-ons. Complimentary consultations take about 15 to 30 minutes and include a porosity test and an elasticity check, and afterward the stylist writes up a summary covering color direction, a treatment schedule and recommended products. Shampoos include a scalp massage, and guests 21 and over may have a complimentary coffee, tea or wine before their appointment.

The salon points to Roseville's hard water, which it says is high in calcium and magnesium and can dull color and roughen hair, so mineral buildup is a regular focus. A chelating detox removes buildup and product residue and is included for many clients. Treatment visits open with a microscopic hair analysis, porosity testing and a mechanical stress test, followed by a blowout. Clients leave with a list of professional products for home use, and stylists walk them through at-home care and product use after services.
