Stylists work at several levels, from licensed apprentice through junior stylist, stylist, senior stylist, master stylist and owner, and service prices follow those levels. The salon runs an apprenticeship program led by senior stylist Gabi, and junior stylist Cheyenne completed that program after studying under the owners for several years. The salon describes its commitment to clients and its team as central to its work.

Women's cuts, color and balayage make up much of the menu. Color retouch covers grey at the roots, and all-over color retouch covers roots to ends. Highlights, balayage and blonding include K18 Bond Builder, glaze and a blow dry, and color prices include one glaze with any extra glaze charged separately. Color correction is priced hourly after a required consultation. Extensions include Bellami, which the salon carries exclusively, along with hand tied, IBE, I-Tip, K-Tip, volume weft and tape-in options. The type and brand are chosen in a consultation with a stylist. Extension consultations are requested by email at smitten.extensions@gmail.com, with replies usually within 24 to 48 hours. A $25 non-refundable consultation fee is charged when booking and subtracted from the service on the day. Extension hair must arrive at the salon and be checked before installation is booked, and the salon does not sell extension hair. Color is not included in extension pricing.

Bookings are taken by phone only, at 571.527.0200. A credit card is required to hold any appointment. Reserving a time takes a deposit of 50% of the booked service amount. The deposit is non-refundable and is applied to the service on the day. Cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours' notice to avoid a fee, and 48 hours is requested when possible. A no-show or same-day change is charged 50% of the listed fee. Clients arriving 15 minutes or more late may be rescheduled. The salon does not accept children under 12 for any service. Parking is free in the garage directly behind the salon. Hours are Monday from 10am to 6pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 8pm, and Friday and Saturday from 10am to 6pm. The salon is closed on Sundays.
