A consultation with one of the physicians costs $100, and that fee is credited toward surgery if it is booked within 90 days. A personalized quote is given at consultation and is valid for 90 days. Quoted prices are starting estimates, since final costs depend on anatomy, surgical technique and anesthesia. The surgical fee covers the board-certified surgeon, pre- and post-surgery visits, operating room costs at the accredited center and a certified anesthesia provider. Discounts may apply to combined procedures or returning patients. Free cosmetic surgery seminars are held, and reservations are made by phone.

Dr. Wayne Yamahata will retire from surgery on November 30, 2026, and a limited number of his surgical appointments remain before then. His post-operative care continues through December 31, 2026, and after that Dr. Patrick Hancock takes over post-op care for his patients. Medical records stay on file at the office, and copies can be requested in writing. The practice is not closing, and its other surgeons continue to see patients and accept new consultations.

The Skin Care Center, which has its own phone line, offers facials, facial peels, permanent makeup and camouflage makeup. Its licensed skin care specialists also prepare patients' skin before and after surgery, and its registered nurses provide Botox, Restylane and laser hair removal.

Surgeons listen to patients' concerns and present treatment options, and the team works together: surgeons consult with one another, can give a second opinion, and cover for each other when a patient's own surgeon is unavailable.

The first-floor doctors' offices in Sacramento are arranged around waterfalls and koi ponds.
