Dr. Rudy Coscia

Rudy Coscia is a surgeon at The Plastic Surgery Center and is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He started practicing at the practice in 2012 as a cosmetic fellow and was invited to join the surgeon group in 2013. He sees patients at the Granite Bay office for consultations, pre-operative appointments, follow-up visits and minor procedures. He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, where he was selected for Alpha Omega Alpha. Surgical training came at the University of California Davis Medical Center under Dr. Thomas Stevenson. He then served as a fellow at the practice, working under six board certified plastic surgeons, and during that year performed facelifts, rhinoplasties, breast augmentations, breast lifts and abdominoplasties. Facial plastic surgery is a particular interest, and his work spans the full range of plastic surgery, both cosmetic and reconstructive. He has published in the Annals of Plastic Surgery and presented research at meetings of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgeons. He combines superb surgical skill with a warm manner toward patients. He is a candidate member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
