The Moth Room is a private hair studio in Lakewood, founded by stylist and artist Donna Ironwing. The studio works with each client on a planned, gradual approach to change rather than a single dramatic visit.
New clients begin with a personalized consultation and a digital intake form that covers their current hair, the last three years of hair history, the feeling they want, how often they plan to maintain their color or cut, the look they have in mind, and a budget for the first session. Returning clients with an established hair plan skip the new client form and book through a returning guest portal, which is used for maintenance, lived-in color refreshes, glossing and toning sessions, and pre-approved transformation continuations.
Services are organized around the hair itself: brightening and blonding, full transformations, a set of named color and care sessions, and maintenance for clients who already have a plan in place.
Transformations are gradual and planned with intention, with a custom plan built for each client around lifestyle, maintenance goals and hair health.
