The Modern Blonde is a Rockwall hair salon that concentrates on blonde color, balayage and hair extensions, and welcomes clients from the wider Dallas-Fort Worth area. It is located at 218 E Rusk Street in the harbor district.

Blonding ranges from soft lived-in blonde to all-over blonde, and balayage is done in several techniques with a lived-in finish. Cancelling less than 24 hours ahead or not showing up results in a charge of the full scheduled service, and clients more than 15 minutes late may not receive the full service. New clients booking an extension install pay a non-refundable $500 deposit, which is applied to the appointment total. Refunds are not offered for custom color or extension appointments, but if a client dislikes a result because of a technical error, they can request an adjustment appointment within 48 hours, scheduled within 7 days of the original service.
