Ami Kristin Studio

Ami Kristin Studio was founded in Rockwall by owner and hair artist Ami Kristin, who trained at Toni and Guy and worked in the Dallas salon scene before opening the studio. According to the salon, it is downtown Rockwall's go-to for standout color and extensions.

Services cover custom color, hand-tied extensions, extensions meant to add length and volume, chop and trim cuts, and styling. Mane Tour Memberships are also offered. Every wedding booking carries a $500 non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee, separate from service pricing, which covers mileage within greater Rockwall plus setup and cleanup. A one-on-one bridal trial run is recommended before the wedding day. Extra time past the ceremony is $75 per additional hour, and a second hair look right after the ceremony is $150 to $200. Services requiring flights or out-of-state travel are not offered at this time.

Booking is done through the online booking link or by texting the keyword NEW BABE. Cancellations and reschedules need 48 hours' notice. Shorter notice, no-call and no-show appointments, and bookings made inside that window are charged the full service price, and the salon makes a courtesy call to confirm the reason before charging a card. Arriving 15 minutes or more late may mean the service is not completed in full or must be rescheduled, so clients are advised to allow time to find parking. The salon is adults only. According to the salon, its motto is high-maintenance looks with low-maintenance upkeep, and the team says it has over 54 years of collective hair experience.
