The salon's approach centers on mindfulness, serving textured hair, and teaching clients how to care for their natural curls. Products are chosen for being eco-friendly, organic and clean, and the lines used include Innersense Organic Beauty, Oway and Original Mineral.

A curly haircut begins with a consultation and a dry cut shaped to the client's natural texture. The visit continues with an organic wash and conditioner, a hydrating micro mist, a scalp massage and an aromatherapy hot towel, then ends with a naturally curly style. The Curly Haircut Experience adds full access to the Texture Tutorials and runs longer. Appointment length is estimated from two or three current photos taken in natural light, plus two or three inspiration photos sent in advance.

Bridal work is a separate offering: Alyssa reserves the entire wedding day for one bride and does not book other clients that day. Bridal bookings start with checking availability and submitting an online inquiry, followed by a signed contract and a retainer, then a trial at the studio and planning with the bride, planner and vendors.

Centers on mindfulness, textured hair and teaching clients to care for their own curls, using organic and clean products.
