About
Alyssa founded The Mindful Curl Co. and is its owner and sole stylist. She specializes in cutting and styling textured hair of all types and in naturally curly bridal hairstyling, and she works with curly, wavy, coily and kinky hair.
She trained at Paul Mitchell and Aveda Education, went to cosmetology school after high school, and has taken many classes from other well-known educators. She holds DevaCut Level 1 and Rezo Cut Level 1 certifications.
She incorporates wellness practices such as meditation, reiki and massage into her services. Because she works without an assistant, her appointments are private, and she does not double book unless a client asks for it.
