The Makery Salon opened in July 2020 in Crescent Springs. Its name is drawn from the first letters of the names of the owner's husband and two sons.

In 2024 the owner added The Makery Professional Suites at 562 Buttermilk Pike, which rents seven numbered private suites, 101 through 107, to stylists, estheticians, nail technicians and other beauty professionals. Suite professionals get free Wi-Fi, free onsite laundry and 24-hour access. The suites are described as affordable and privately owned and managed, and questions can be sent by email.

Suite 101 is one of the larger spaces at about 175 square feet and gets plenty of natural light. Suite 102 has water access and suits hair stylists, estheticians and therapists. Several independent businesses operate from the suites, including a nail studio, a hair studio and a hair salon run by its owner.

Built to help stylists develop their craft while building close, family-like relationships with clients.

A warm, friendly setting meant to feel welcoming to both stylists and clients.
