A visit starts with a consultation, where the stylist looks at each client's natural lashes to choose extension lengths and thicknesses and build a custom design. Extensions come in classic, which applies one per natural lash, volume, with a fan of two to six per lash, hybrid, which mixes classic and volume, and mega volume, with seven to twenty per lash. Clients can also pick a softer C curl or a tighter D curl. The synthetic extensions go through a double heat-roll process. A first full set takes two to three hours, and a fill takes about 45 minutes. Because the business says about 20% of natural lashes are lost every two weeks, it recommends returning for fills every two weeks, ideally at the salon where the extensions were first applied.
