The studio was built in 2023 and is operated by The Haircolor Studio, LLC. It occupies a suite inside Salons by JC on 25th Avenue NE. Danny, the owner and colorist, set it up to practice color with careful attention to the chemistry involved.

Every appointment is one-on-one, with one client in the chair and no assistant taking over during service. Bookings are made through the Vagaro platform after a consultation is submitted, and text is the preferred way to reach the studio, since phone calls and social media messages are not taken. Clients can park on the street out front or use the underground garage off NE Blakely St.

Corrective work is a major focus. Before booking, new clients complete an online Digital Consultation covering their full salon and at-home color and chemical history, including box dye, bleach kits, henna and toners, and photos are requested when possible. Quotes from the consultation are estimates until an in-person assessment. Many corrections are finished in a single long appointment, usually under 10 hours for the darkest, while some need more time or several sessions. Multi-hour corrections fill quickly, so the studio keeps a waitlist and notifies clients when a spot opens.

The salon describes its Triple-Bonded Color Method as pairing color with repair in the same session. Bond repair, metal removal, toner, gloss, blowout and finish are included in every session without add-on charges. The studio says it gives clients a realistic timeline and cost, and that hair integrity comes first, with some goals needing more than one visit.

Each visit moves through a diagnosis of the hair, a custom formulation, application, and a walk-through of what was done and how to maintain it at home, with hair integrity placed ahead of any single color goal.
