The Queen Anne salon has served that neighborhood since 2012 from a Craftsman house on Queen Anne Avenue North. The salon says it is known for individualized hair color, exacting cuts and styling. Each visit starts with a tailored consultation. Color is mapped out from the client's current shade, past color work, hair length, density and what they want to achieve, and cuts are built around the client's hair type, how they spend their days and the finish they prefer. Blow-drying and styling with a round brush are included in most cut and color services.

Stylists are grouped by level, and the price for the same service varies by level. The salon says levels reflect experience, education, technical ability, service, tenure and demand, and that all stylists take part in continuing education. Haircuts start at $93 and Youth Haircuts at $53, depending on level. Extra product, corrective work or additional time can change the final price, and the stylist discusses any change before beginning.

Parking and surroundings differ by location. Wallingford sits on a quieter stretch a few minutes from Green Lake, Fremont and the University District, with free street parking and several major bus lines nearby. Queen Anne has free back-in angle parking in front, usually available, and is reachable by bus or on foot. Edmonds has a customer lot in front plus nearby free street parking, and Lynnwood has free parking right outside, in a complex that also holds a Starbucks and an LA Fitness. Wallingford and Queen Anne are open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 6pm; Edmonds is open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 6pm; Lynnwood is open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 7pm and Saturday 10am to 6pm.

Guests can book online through the salon's website, and appointments can be changed or cancelled online, by email or by phone. Changes made more than 24 hours ahead carry no charge. Changes made within 24 hours are charged half the scheduled service price, and missed appointments are charged the full price. A credit or debit card is required to hold a reservation. Appointments can include Aveda rituals such as a neck and shoulder massage, scalp massage or a hot towel at the shampoo bowl.

Each visit starts with a personalized consultation, and color and cuts are tailored to the individual guest's hair, routine and goals.

The Queen Anne salon is set in a Craftsman house, which the salon says makes it feel calmer than a typical retail space.
