Danny

Danny owns The Haircolor Studio, which he opened in 2023, and works there as its colorist. He has been coloring hair for 27 years and has taught hair color for more than 20. Before opening his own studio, he was lead colorist at a Seattle salon that Seattle Magazine named Best Salon for Cut and Color in 2022 and 2023. He also served as Senior District Leader for Regis Corporation, where his district ranked first of 65 in the Pacific Northwest region, and he received the Above & Beyond National Leadership Award from Regis. He trained at Redken 5th Avenue in New York and has completed more than 500 hours of advanced continuing education at the Redken Exchange. He is a manufacturer-certified Redken trainer and holds the Redken National Artist and National Educator titles, chosen from over 500 applicants. For several years he was a Redken platform educator presenting on stages across the country, and he has taught at the Premier Orlando and America's Beauty Show hair shows. Workshops he has run include hands-on sessions at distributor training centers, and he has lectured at cosmetology schools. He has trained thousands of stylists. From 2010 to 2017 he served as State Captain for the Illinois Professional Beauty Association. His work centers on corrective color, gray coverage and blending, balayage, highlights and lived-in color. His classes cover color theory, formulation, blonding, balayage placement, gray blending and color correction. Clients come to him for corrective color, gray coverage and transitions, and maintenance color. Other colorists refer their own clients to him.
