The Hair Collective is a private salon suite at 4735 Sharon Rd. in Charlotte, across from SouthPark Mall. The salon describes itself as cozy and designed to feel warm and welcoming, and it works by appointment only.
Blonding and lived-in color are a focus, along with balayage, highlights, color corrections and extensions. Clients who want to talk through their goals, the look they have in mind and their service options can book a one-on-one consultation first, from $30 for 30 minutes. That fee applies to the following appointment unless the consultation is cancelled or missed.
Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice, with 72 hours preferred, and later cancellations carry a 50% fee charged to the card on file. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean rescheduling, with 50% of the missed service charged as a deposit toward the next visit. A no-call, no-show is charged the full scheduled service to the card on file, and future bookings are not permitted after a missed appointment.
The salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and is closed on Sunday and Monday. Members book services as usual, and membership benefits are applied at checkout in the salon.
Every visit is booked by the hour and customized to the client's hair goals and the time the work needs.
