The salon says education is the foundation of good hair, and it aims for an honest, realistic approach to what each client wants their hair to do. Stylists work with every hair texture and type, from straight and wavy to curly and coily, and team members shampoo one another as part of a shared approach.

Color is booked as timed sessions, with prices based on the work each step takes and reflecting the stylist's experience. Options range from a custom gloss and solid color maintenance to partial and full lived-in color, the Signature Blonding Experience and corrective color. Most color sessions include a custom gloss and either a blowout or a customized haircut. The salon has a fully stocked Maria Nila color bar. Corrective color requires an in-person advanced chemical consultation before booking, which may include a strand test.

Extensions begin with a consultation to match color and choose the method and length. Tape-in extensions can add density to fine hair and even out a thin hairline at the front and sides, and beaded weft extensions use a beaded row method with no glue or tape, which allows high ponytails and updos. Both need a consultation before booking and a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit to reserve. Extensions typically need a move-up every four to six weeks.

New clients receive a 15-minute consultation, and new color guests start with a New Color Guest Form. Consultations are complimentary. A credit card on file is required to reserve, and appointments changed within 48 hours carry a 50% fee. Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours, and no-shows, incur a 100% fee. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may be rescheduled or canceled at management's discretion. Hours rotate on a four-week schedule, generally Monday to Wednesday 11am to 7pm, Thursday 11am to 8pm, Friday 11am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm, with Sunday closed.
