Nadia Nicole founded the studio. She is a certified curl specialist who has trained in the Rezo, DevaCurl and Cut It Kinky methods. According to the studio, her aim is to help clients understand their hair and look after it properly, not just during the appointment when the style is finished.

New clients begin with a consultation of about 10 minutes or longer, priced from $25. That fee is applied toward the first service when it is booked with the appointment. After booking, new clients complete a short New Client Intake before their first meeting.

Curly-hair services include The Wash and Go, a roughly 90-minute appointment finished with a diffuse or air dry, and The Curl Reset, a longer session that adds a clarifying shampoo, a customized treatment and a precision cut. The Twist Out uses a two-strand twist set over about two hours.

Color services include The Gloss, a toner and gloss treatment, and Root Touch Up and Gray Coverage. The Color Story is a longer color appointment that requires a $50 deposit and a virtual consultation booked beforehand. Treatment options include The Silk Reset, a clarifying and customized treatment that ends in a silk press and trim, and The Silk Remedy, which uses an Amino Acid Smoothing Treatment by Design Essentials. The studio states that results from the Silk Remedy last up to 12 weeks.

Policies: a 50% charge applies to no-shows and late cancellations, and cancellations are requested 24 hours in advance. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment.

The studio builds each appointment around the client's hair texture, lifestyle and goals, with the aim of supporting healthy hair over time.
