The salon describes its experience as personalized. Two independent licensed technicians work from a private studio inside The Village Salons, and Megan is the newest artist on the team.

Russian manicures are the salon's specialty. Also called an e-file or dry manicure, the service uses an electric file to remove excess cuticle and refine the nail plate. It is offered as a naked service for $60, with a structure gel overlay for $95, or with a hard gel overlay for $100.

The studio works only with gel products, so acrylic and dip nails are not part of the menu. Gel X extensions begin at $90 for a short length, with the price climbing as the length increases. A Gel X tip covers the whole nail, is bonded with soft gel, can't be refilled, and is removed and replaced at every visit. Hard gel extensions are built with either a dual form or a hybrid technique, and the process can run as long as 3 hours before any nail art is added. A structure gel manicure costs $75 and includes a basic dry manicure plus a soft gel layer on the client's own nails, but it can't be combined with extensions. Hand-painted nail art comes in four levels, ranging from basic to ultra.

Parking is in a large lot, but spots up front are not always open, so clients are asked to arrive a few minutes early. The studio is not kid-friendly, and children and pets are not allowed except service animals. Hours are Monday 10am to 4pm, Tuesday 1pm to 8:30pm, Wednesday 10am to 9pm, Thursday 1pm to 8:30pm, Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 11am to 5pm; the salon is closed on Sundays. Each new client receives a dropper bottle of cuticle oil, which can be returned for a free refill.

Booking and contact are by text only at 833-779-7820, and the salon is on Instagram as @the.claw.coven. New clients pay a $20 non-refundable deposit to reserve an appointment. Design inspiration should be sent at least 24 hours before an appointment, and one extra guest is welcome if the salon is told in advance.

The salon describes its service as personalized, with two independent licensed technicians working from a private studio. Its work is limited to gel-based services, with a focus on Russian manicures.
