Allison began her career over 17 years ago as an apprentice at a salon in La Mesa, California, and then completed cosmetology training. She rented a booth in El Cajon before working at a salon inside the Hotel Del Coronado. She later spent 12 years as a manager and educator for an Aveda salon, then opened her own studio inside Salon Republic Escondido and joined the team at R & D Artistry, across the hall.
Color services start with base color retouches and all-over base color. Base color with blonding combines grey coverage or an overall color change with dimensional blonding. Partial and full blonding use foiling, foilayage and balayage, with full blonding aiming for a high level of lightness. Blonding with vivids is priced hourly with a three-hour minimum, and corrective color is priced hourly with a four-hour minimum, treating every strand with lightener, toner or darkener.
Extension packages come in four tiers. The Volume Package is $850 with 60-90 grams of 20-inch hair and one row install, and the Platinum Package is $2,200 with 210-240 grams and three row installs. Coloring of natural hair is not included, and packages can be upgraded to 24 inches or custom ordered up to 32 inches for an additional charge, with custom orders needing 8-12 weeks of manufacture time.
HairDreams Microlines hair replacement starts at $2,500 and includes a 16-inch microlines unit, initial install, a check service with blowout and custom coloring, with longer lengths available as an upgrade. New clients can book a complimentary in-person consultation online through GlossGenius, or by phone or email.
