The Beauty Compound describes itself as Greenpoint's first Black-owned cosmetic beauty studio. It is located on the fourth floor of a building at 67 West St. in Brooklyn. Visitors can reach the studio by the building's indoor elevators, a courtyard elevator, or the courtyard stairs.

Brow work is the studio's core. Options range from a teen brow edit for clients under 16 and an initial brow edit for new clients, to a brow edit for returning clients that can be done with waxing or by hand-tweezing. A maintenance brow is available for existing wax clients within six weeks of their last brow edit or reset, and a brow reset lamination lasting up to four weeks is offered for longer-lasting shape. Brow tint can be booked alone, and it is also available as an add-on.

The facial menu runs from a Signature Compound Facial starting at $85 to Liquid Microneedling at $325. Between them are treatments for oily and combination skin, redness and sensitive or acne-prone skin, congestion, oxygenation, skin tightening and lifting, and resurfacing. Peel-based options include an AHA/BHA resurfacing peel with a post-care kit, a vitamin A resurfacing facial with a post-care kit, and a no-downtime TCA peel. Clients are told to expect peeling for the stated number of days after the first two. A Clear Start Teen Facial is offered for teens with breakouts or congestion, and a non-invasive high frequency treatment is available for skin tags, sun spots and similar lesions.

Permanent makeup covers brows, lash lines, freckles and lips, including microblading and shading techniques for brows and a two-session lip blush. Lash services include classic sets, lash lifts, a Korean lash lift reset, tints and extension removal. Multi-session packages save money over single bookings, and package credits apply automatically at checkout. Appointments are open Wednesday from 11 AM to 6:30 PM, Thursday and Friday from 11 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. The studio is closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday.

Services are tailored to each client, and the final price of many treatments is adjusted for customization and add-ons.
