Amy Kendall

Amy Kendall is a small studio on the second floor at 118 N. 11th Street, between Wythe and Berry in Williamsburg. The floor is shared with Press Massage. The studio's services are grouped into brows and lashes, and the team includes Amy, Christina and Pam.

On the brow side, clients can book brow tinting, which adds color to brow hair and lasts about four weeks, and brow shaping, which shapes and adds structure to natural brows. Brow waxing, threading and tweezing are also available, with Pam as the only artist who offers waxing. Brow lamination is a chemical process that straightens brow hair so brows look fuller for six to eight weeks, and it can be booked with shape or tint added. Microblading is a semi-permanent treatment for thin, sparse brows that lasts one or more years. New clients with no previous microblading have a lower introductory rate, and touch-up sessions done six to eight weeks after the first visit with Amy, as well as a 12-month color boost for previous work done by Amy, are offered at a set price. Clients who had microblading done elsewhere and want follow-up work are asked to email photos and consult with Amy first.

On the lash side, lash tinting adds color to natural lashes for about four weeks or more. A lash lift with tint included curls and lifts natural lashes for roughly four to six weeks; clients are asked to keep makeup and water off their lashes for 24 hours afterward. Lash extensions, priced from $155 to $210, are customized to each client's goals and natural lashes, and hybrid, classic and volume styles are offered. Clients with existing extensions need to book a fill appointment, and clients are asked to skip caffeine before lash appointments. Clients can bring headphones to listen to podcasts during lash extension sessions.

The studio offers a 45-minute Dermaplaning Facial for $140. It opens with a cleanse, then dermaplaning, which shaves away dead skin and fine facial hair, followed by a tailored calming mask and closing products. Christina performs this treatment. Appointments are booked online, and a credit card must be kept on file, though it is not charged in advance. Changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and a no-show is billed the full session fee. For microblading and lash extension appointments, arriving more than 20 minutes late cancels the session and the full visit total is charged. Brow services booked for 15 or 30 minutes count as a no-show when the client arrives more than 5 minutes late. Rescheduling and late-notice changes go through Square using the confirmation email, and the waitlist is also managed through Square. Studio hours: Sunday 9am to 4pm, Monday 9am to 8pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 11am to 8pm, Thursday 11am to 6pm, Friday 10am to 8pm, and Saturday 9am to 5pm.
