The salon's stated aim is to help people keep their natural hair healthy and to support clients who are moving from relaxed to natural hair. It describes its atmosphere as peaceful and fun-loving, offers free wifi in the salon, runs weekly specials for current clients, hosts workshops and sells natural hair products and merchandise. Clients can book or cancel online at any time through a real-time calendar, and virtual consultations are available for people who live far away or do not need an in-person visit. A 50% non-refundable deposit of the service value secures an appointment. If no deposit was collected at booking, the card on file is charged that deposit one week before the visit. Missed consultations are charged $10. Deposits can move to a rescheduled or future appointment. Clients should arrive with previous styles removed and hair detangled, and a detangling fee may apply if extra time is needed. Listed prices are starting prices.

Bridal work is a major part of the business. A bridal consultation costs $25, and bridal bookings require a $100 deposit. Packages come in styles on the client's own hair or with added hair, and Bridal Package 3 includes trial styles for the bride and bridesmaids before the wedding plus a 2 to 4 hour salon rental on the wedding day, priced by the styles chosen at consultation. On-location bridal travel is $25 for 15 miles or less, $50 for 16 to 25 miles and $65 for 26 miles or more. Bridal prices may be adjusted if the cost of styles or materials falls outside the quoted range. Packages, auto-pays and gift certificates can be exchanged for equal credit toward other services but cannot be transferred to other clients, combined with other discounts or refunded in cash.

Extension services all require a consultation before booking, and additional hair for extensions is not supplied unless arranged in advance.

The salon focuses on healthy natural hair and on guiding people through the move from relaxed to natural hair, with services tailored to each client.
