SZ Artistry Studio

The studio is private and works by appointment only, at 7411 Maple Ave in Pennsauken. It operated under the name JLASHEDYOU ARTISTRY from 2018 until September 2023 and rebranded as SZ Artistry Studio after that business closed. Hours are Monday and Tuesday 10 AM to 6:30 PM and Friday 10 AM to 6 PM; the studio is closed Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. It is accepting new clients and books on a monthly basis.

The studio says its aim is to help women feel beautiful and empowered, and it describes its lashes as customized and comfortable. Full sets are shaped to each client's curl, length and color after an eye and lash analysis. The Korean Lash Boost uses a vegan, cysteamine-based system enriched with keratin, collagen, peptides and amino acids, and results are listed as lasting 6 to 8 weeks. A form must be completed after a Korean Lash Boost appointment is approved.

Services and prices: a full set of lash extensions is $200 and takes 120 minutes. The Korean Lash + Color Boost is $160 for 90 minutes, the Korean Lash Boost without color is $145 for 70 minutes, and a refill in any style is $130 for 90 minutes. A Mini Fill is $55 for 45 minutes and must be booked within 7 days of the last fill. Color boosts are $30 for the top lashes only (10 minutes) or $50 for top and bottom (30 minutes). Lash removal is $30 for 45 minutes. A free 30-minute patch test applies a few extensions to each eye using the same process as a full set, for first-timers or anyone unsure about possible allergic reactions.

Clients must be at least 18. Lash fills done at another business are not accepted, and guests cannot join appointments. Each booking carries a deposit applied to the service, which is kept if the visit is canceled; full sets, refills and Korean Lash services take a $20 deposit. Late arrivals must be reported at least 15 minutes ahead. A 5-minute grace period applies, and anyone arriving more than 5 minutes late pays a $25 fee in addition to the service. Sessions run only for the scheduled time. Missing an appointment without notice, not calling ahead, canceling the same day, or rescheduling the day before or the same day incurs a fee equal to 100% of the service. Refills can be booked up to 3 weeks after the last appointment; after 21 days, or when under 40% of lashes remain, the visit is charged as a full set. Mini fills do not replace the usual maintenance appointment. The remaining balance can be paid in cash, Venmo or CashApp, and Affirm, Afterpay and Klarna payment plans are accepted.

Each full set is customized by curl, length and color after an eye and lash analysis, and a patch test is available for newcomers.
