Mora Salon has been working in the beauty industry for more than 30 years, and owner and CEO Wanda Mora has run the salon for about nine years. The team cuts, colors and styles hair of all textures, with a particular focus on curly, coily and wavy hair. Clients are served throughout Cherry Hill and nearby South Jersey communities.

The salon takes a curl-focused approach and does not use one method for every curl pattern. New curly-hair clients are strongly encouraged to start with a one-hour consultation, which covers a full hair assessment, a curl pattern and density analysis, a personalized cutting plan and a restorative treatment, with clients asked to arrive with hair natural and dry. Women's haircuts are booked as 30-minute sessions with a junior stylist or hour-long sessions with a master stylist, and each appointment begins with a consultation about goals, hair history and lifestyle. Men's, children's and curly-hair cuts are also offered, and the Ouidad and Rëzo techniques are available for curly hair.

Color services include balayage, foil highlights, all-over color, root touch-ups and color correction, with a customized color consultation offered before services. Balayage is painted freehand and grows out without harsh lines. A deposit is required to book Brazilian Blowout, keratin, perm and balayage appointments, and a color consultation is recommended for clients with previous box dye or who want a fashion shade. Extensions include fused Great Lengths and tape-in Hairtalk, and a consultation is required before a new extension appointment.

Bridal and special-occasion work covers bridal hair and makeup, trials, bridal party and wedding party services, and formal hairstyles. The salon suggests booking bridal hair and makeup three to six months ahead, particularly in peak wedding season, and a bridal trial several weeks before the wedding. Mora Mobile brings on-location styling to homes, hotels and venues in Cherry Hill and surrounding areas for groups of five or more including the bride, with a $300 deposit to reserve the date and a travel fee based on distance. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, and online booking is available at any hour.
