The space draws on the style of the 1920s through the 1960s, with antiques, plants, crystals and incense. Throwback music plays on the radio, which gives the salon a relaxed feel. The shop sells plants, incense, sage, palo santo, crystal jewelry, books, bath rituals, oils and handmade herbal goods.

Hair services range from designer cuts for women, men and children to balayage, ombre, highlights, vivid color and Hot Heads extensions. Treatments include keratin and Brazilian Blowout smoothing, a Rebond treatment, and the Mystic Miracle scalp and hair treatment, which the salon describes as one of a kind and only available at Blush. Skin services include custom facials, advanced facials and back facials, with microdermabrasion, microcurrent, LED light therapy and chemical peels among the modalities offered.

Makeup, styling and skin services can also be taken on location, with weddings and media shoots covered. The Prom Special pairs styling and makeup with a mini photo shoot in the dress, and the Blush-Borrow-a-Dress program lends donated prom dresses at no charge. A healing practitioner is on staff daily, according to the salon, offering Reiki, Tibetan Chakra therapy, crystal sessions and intuitive healing.

The salon is open Wednesday through Saturday and closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday. Deposits are required for all services and are non-refundable. A free consultation is offered for any salon or spa service, with a $25 hold fee that is applied to the next appointment or returned on the day of the consultation. Cancellations with 24 or more hours notice receive the deposit credited to the account, while shorter notice incurs a charge of 50 percent of the service price. The salon does not offer refunds. Gift cards can be bought online, in person or by mail.

The salon blends vintage-era styling with skin treatments and wellness services in one space, with each skin care plan tailored to the client.
