Synthesis Nails is run by Gabby out of a private home studio on South Chester Street in Aurora. The studio describes its nail care as customized and high-quality, and every visit is booked one-on-one in a relaxed setting rather than in a busy salon room.
The menu centers on structured gel manicures, which use soft builder gel or hard gel depending on nail length and the support a client needs, and on Gel-X extensions, which are soft gel tips with a full cover overlay in the shape and length the client chooses. Both include full cuticle care and careful prep. A regular gel polish manicure on natural nails, with shaping and gentle buffing, is also offered.
Nail art is available as four add-on levels, from a single accent nail per hand up to full sets with airbrush, hand-painted characters, custom illustrations and 3D elements. Gel-X and structured gel sets come in a solid color unless a nail art level is added. Level 1 is the add-on the studio lists for full cat-eye or chrome sets.
Returning clients can book refills, which rebalance an existing structured gel set with fresh builder gel, and removals for Gel-X or structured gel that needs to be soaked off. Refills must be booked within three to five weeks of the last set. Product that the studio did not originally apply is removed for an extra $35. Repairs within seven days of an appointment are free, and after that they are charged per nail.
Studio hours are Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, closed Thursday and Friday, Saturday from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm, and Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Bookings can be made by phone or email, and a travel add-on is available for appointments away from the studio once the travel has been agreed before booking.
Each set is built around the client, with customized nail care and detailed prep before the work begins.
