Sweet Wax Bar is a private waxing studio in Tempe on East Baseline Road, inside Ivory Salon Suites. It is open Monday from 9 AM to 2 PM, Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM. The studio uses hard wax for its waxing menu, which covers the face, arms, underarms, legs, back, chest, stomach, hands, toes and intimate areas.

The brow menu includes brow lamination, brow tint, brow stain and combinations of these. Brow lamination includes a brow wax and takes about 45 minutes, while a brow tint only colors the brow hairs and a brow stain also colors the skin. Lash services are a lash lift and a lash lift with tint. Prices run from $13 for a chin wax up to $90 for full legs.

During a visit, only the client and the esthetician are in the waxing room. Clients under 18 may stay in the room, and a stroller or car seat fits inside. The Brazilian Lux and Bikini Full Lux services include a hydrogel vajacial mask made with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera for care after hair removal. The Brazilian V and Bikini Full V services are for female anatomy only.

The business asks clients to stop using retinol for one to two weeks before brow lamination or waxing, and to wait two to three weeks after an advanced facial. Clients who take Accutane are not good candidates for brow lamination and cannot be waxed. Waxing hair should be at least half an inch long. Clients wearing contacts should remove them before lash services and avoid mascara the day before. New clients are welcome, according to the business's portfolio page. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.
