Cosmetic brow tattoo is offered in three methods. Powder brow is built with an electric machine and a single fine needle, layering tiny dots rather than hair strokes, and its color density and outline can be adjusted from a soft tinted finish to a more defined one. The studio says powder brow is its most popular service and that it often needs no touch-up for three to five years. Nano or hairstroke tattoo uses a tattoo machine for a hair-stroke look, with touch-ups on average every one to three years. Combination brow blends hairstroke work with machine shading. Corrective work on previous tattoo or microblading is done only with the powder technique and covers color correction, reshaping and rebalancing, and camouflaging older work.
Eye, lip and face services include a lashline enhancement tattoo, a smokey liner add-on, eyeliner tattoo touch-ups, lip blush tattoo and touch-up, and freckle or beauty mark tattoos made with manual stippling. Eyeliner and lip tattoo correction are not offered; those services are for new sets only. Numbing is used, and some techniques include light shading before numbing is applied. Aftercare materials, including a protective shield kit, come with tattoo services.
Brows, lashes and waxing are also part of the menu. A signature brow wax or tweeze includes pre-mapping and consulting, waxing, tweezing, trimming and finishing, with maintenance usually every three to five weeks. Brow lamination is a gentle perm that sets brow hairs in place and includes waxing and tinting, lasting about six to eight weeks. Lash lift and tint, volume lash extensions (full set and fill, with fills about every two weeks) and waxing of the chin, upper lip, Brazilian area, full face and full body are all offered. Clients on Accutane in the last 12 months, or with active psoriasis, eczema or herpes in the treatment area, are not suitable for brow lamination, lash lift or waxing.
Holding a spot costs nothing, but a card must be on file to book. Cancelling or missing an appointment with less than 48 hours' notice triggers a nonrefundable fee of 40%. Paying by card adds a 2.5% merchant charge, while Zelle carries no extra charge. New clients are charged the new-client rate. Anyone who has had a tattoo before must send photos for approval before they can book. Touch-ups are not scheduled for work completed somewhere other than BROWHAUS. A follow-up tattoo session can be booked no earlier than six weeks after the first. Children cannot attend appointments, and permanent makeup is offered to clients aged 18 and over. Because permanent makeup does not suit everyone, the studio recommends a consultation before booking, and patch testing is available for possible product allergies. Pregnant or breastfeeding clients may need to reschedule, as may those who have recently had a chemical peel, laser treatment or Botox in the brow area. Waxing requires roughly three weeks of hair growth beforehand.
Training is a significant part of the business. A three-day powder brow tattoo course costs $3,500 with a maximum of two students per instructor, requires a $500 deposit to hold the spot, and includes a certificate of completion. The first two days are consecutive and the third follows about a week later. Other options include a one-day brow lamination or hybrid tint workshop for $300 (one-on-one or small group, with a model available for an extra $50), a one-on-one advanced brow, eye or lip workshop for $850, a Korean lash lift course with Kiera for $600 (maximum two students, with a client-ready kit valued at $185), and return workshops at the studio for $500 to tattoo a model with guidance. Students must be licensed cosmetologists or estheticians, or be enrolled students. The studio trained two resident artists before opening its training to visiting students.
