The owners describe the place as a boutique salon that aims for an inclusive, family-like atmosphere for clients, stylists, apprentices and assistants alike.

The salon says it is dedicated to supporting inclusion and the well-being of its customers, its staff and the wider community. It is also an exclusive member of Green Circle Salons, a program that recycles materials including cardboard and chemical waste, and it has donated to NCCF and raised money for City Dogs Rescue and The Trevor Project. My Green Montgomery featured the salon in an article about greening a beauty routine.

Hair color and styling are built around Davines products, which the salon describes as organic and which favor ingredients of natural origin in packaging designed to reduce environmental impact. Every product used during a service is also available to buy in the salon. Pricing is charged by the hour rather than by individual service, and stylists keep varied schedules, so the salon directs clients to its online booking to check availability.

Consultations are required before color correction, creative color and wedding or special occasion styling. Apprentice appointments include extra time for instruction and are booked by phone only. Full price is charged if an appointment is not canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
