Supernova Salon is a private studio in downtown Decatur, Georgia. The salon describes its atmosphere as a safe space where clients can be themselves, and it states that it has zero tolerance for hate of any kind.

Hair is the whole menu. Services run from short and medium-to-long cuts and children's haircuts through toning glosses, highlights, balayage, fashion color and color blocking, to blowouts, a strengthening treatment and tape-in extensions.

Several services include a set of finishing steps: scalp massage, blow-dry styling, a K-18 repair treatment in some balayage and cut services, and a take-home color bomb with the all over fashion color balayage. Custom color blocking is planned around a placement chosen for each client and includes an Olaplex treatment. The salon describes balayage as lower maintenance than traditional highlights.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are charged at 50 percent of the service. Hair Talk Extensions require a $200 deposit, a consultation and a color match before the appointment. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 12 PM to 8 PM, Thursday 8 AM to 4 PM, Friday 8:30 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM; the studio is closed Monday and Saturday.

Color work covers toning glosses, all over color glosses and refreshes, base and express retouches, fashion color, color blocking, highlights and balayage.
