Wildheart Salon

Wildheart Salon is co-owned by Tiffany Washington and Cartez Washington, whose combined experience comes to more than 45 years. The salon says its aim is to deliver high-quality service alongside a lifestyle experience guests will remember, and it describes its hair care products as premium.

Hours run Tuesday to Thursday from 10am to 8pm, Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm. The salon is closed on Sundays, and Monday availability depends on each stylist. Parking is available in the salon's lot and on the surrounding streets.

Services cover haircuts shaped for each guest, color including highlights, dimensional color, balayage and touch-ups, and color correction, which the salon says takes patience and commitment. Chemical and smoothing services include a Goldwell Kerasilk keratin treatment, relaxers and perms. Repair and thermal services include a conditioning treatment meant to restore natural luster and thermal styling with hot tools. Styling treatments, bridal and special occasion styling for wedding parties and events, and braids, locs and extensions round out the menu.

New clients are asked to call rather than book online for a first appointment. A first visit booked by phone includes a complimentary new client consultation. Clients should give 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel Tuesday through Friday, and 48 hours on Saturdays. Appointments are confirmed three days ahead, and the salon may require prepayment.

Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are charged the full appointment cost. Arriving more than 15 minutes late means full service fees apply, and extending an appointment is not always possible. Children may only be in the service area while receiving a service and should not be left unsupervised in the waiting area. The salon has a no-refund policy on all services, but clients who are unhappy with a service should tell their stylist or the front desk before leaving, and the salon says it will try to make adjustments. Clients who book and pay directly with a stylist should ask that stylist about their own policies.

Each haircut is shaped for the individual guest, and the salon centers its service on the people in the chair.
