Sugar Cookie Wax, LLC is a hair removal studio in Suite A124 at Phenix Salon Suites, in Surprise. The studio was founded by Sophia Christensen, who serves as its CEO and owner and is a licensed esthetician with four years in practice, with a focus on sugar and Brazilian waxing.

According to the studio, its goal is for clients to leave feeling accepted, confident and celebrated, with skin that looks smoother and healthier. The studio calls itself body positive and inclusive. It considers sugaring a gentler way to remove unwanted body hair. The sugar paste is mixed from sugar, lemon juice and water. The studio states that its sugar is organic and that it selects suppliers and products with environmentally safe, natural ingredients where possible.

A first-time client can book a free 15-minute video consult to decide between wax and sugar. Treatment plans and product choices are shaped around each client's skin, and all wax formulas are available so the wax can match the skin and hair type. Arriving 10 to 15 minutes early gives time to complete intake forms, which can be filled out online beforehand or on paper at the suite. Estheticians use disposable latex-free gloves and a new single-use spatula for each application, and a single-use intimate wipe is used before intimate services. During intimate services, clients may ask for a break, a restroom pause, extra draping, or a change of music or conversation. Appointments are recommended, and walk-ins are taken when the schedule allows.

Memberships are a flat monthly fee for select waxing and sugaring services, with a one-time $15 setup fee. Members receive 20% off regular scheduled services, priority scheduling and member-only offers, but memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. A credit card is kept on file to guarantee each reservation. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged 25% of the booked service, cancellations with less than 8 hours' notice are charged 50%, and no-shows are charged in full. Clients more than 10 minutes late may face a 25% late cancellation fee.

Treatment plans and product selection are tailored to each client's skin needs, and the studio prefers natural, environmentally safe ingredients where possible.
